During the week leading up to Halloween, help your student carve, paint, or decorate a pumpkin at home. Big, small, simple, difficult, spooky, or fun — all entries are welcome! Please remember that no weapons or gore are permitted. 

Bring your student’s decorated pumpkin to the school gym between 7:55 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on October 30th. Tables will be set up by grade, and students can place their pumpkins on the appropriate table. 

🏆 Pumpkin Awards 🍬
During school hours, classes will have an opportunity to visit the gym and check out all the amazing pumpkin creations. After lunch the PAC will recognize a handful of favorite entries, and these will be given a friendly certificate. But don’t worry — every participant will receive a small Halloween goodie bag! 

👻 Costume Parade 🎃
 Before the end of the school day, students will also participate in a Halloween costume parade. Classes will tour the school halls to see each other’s costumes and will make another trip through the gym. Students will then have a chance to see which pumpkin entries received the PAC certificates! 

👪 Parents & Families 🦇
Parents are welcome to join us in the gym near the end of the school day, approximately 1:45, to view the pumpkin entries and hopefully catch a glimpse of their student during the costume parade as it passes through the gym. To help keep things safe and manageable, the halls are for students only, as it can become a very busy and crowded. 
🔔 Once the dismissal bell rings at 2:24 parents can receive their student at regular dismissal areas and return to the gym to help their students claim their pumpkins and prizes. Make sure you take your pumpkins home again to decorate your front steps just in time for trick-or-treat night! 🙋
