Cooler Days: We have definitely entered into the Fall Season. The weather is starting to cool and the leaves are falling from the trees. We plan on going outside every recess and lunch play time. Please be sure your child(ren) are dressed for the weather. There may be sometimes when we have extreme weather conditions that require us to remain inside during our breaks. The school does have some spare coats. If your child needs a coat, please let the office know and we will try our best to help out.
Scholastic Book Fair is happening on October 28th-31st. Please see the attached flyer for detailed times.
Halloween: Halloween is quickly approaching. Friday October 31st is Costume Day or Orange and Black Day at Little Mountain Elementary.
- If your child wears a costume to school on this day, please ensure costumes are appropriate for an Elementary School.
- No guns/weapons, costume masks, or blood.
- Students should come to school wearing their costume.
- ALL costume preparations to be completed at home. (No dressing or applying of make-up or colored hairspray once students arrive at school).
- Students should be comfortable wearing their costumes all day.
- No inflatable costumes.
Halloween Costume Cupboard: If you are struggling to get a costume for your child, check out the LME PAC Facebook page. They have costumes available in a variety of sizes.
